Differences across reporting periods

Note: This is a first exploratory description of the data. It may contain errors.

NHS Talking Therapies (NHS TT) publishes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. There could be several reasons for differences between the reporting periods. For example, double counting would make the sums higher than the annual count, and late data submissions might make them lower.

Table 1 compares the annual counts (1 April to 31 March) with the sum of the monthly and quarterly counts for the same time interval. The monthly and quarterly sums differ from the annual count by -2.3% to +0.3%.
